DUBOS A.S., DISTRIBUTOR - PROFESSIONAL RETAILER (hereinafter referred to as "DUBOS"), attaches great importance to the protection of privacy and data relating to its customers and prospective customers as well as its employees, partners and service providers. DUBOS therefore takes care to adopt and respect the principles applicable to the protection of personal data for all of its activities.

 

The purpose of this privacy policy (the "Policy") is to provide clear, simple and comprehensive information to all users of this website ("You", "Your" and the "Site") on how DUBOS ("We", "Us"), in its capacity as data controller, collects and uses data relating to You and on the means available to You to control this use and exercise Your rights in relation thereto.

 

We process Your data in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR, applicable local data protection laws and industry specific data protection standards that may apply to our contractual relationship.

We only process Your data in order to guarantee You optimal use of Our services, to respond to Your requests, to keep You informed of our news and promotions, or to provide You with advice tailored to Your needs.

Indeed, DUBOS needs to collect and process certain data concerning You insofar as such data is, as the case may be, necessary for the performance of a sales or service contract, to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, collected with Your prior consent or in the legitimate interest of DUBOS (for example for the purposes of security of Your transactions).

Mandatory fields are those indicated as such by the symbol (*). If you do not fill in these fields, we will unfortunately be unable to process your request. The other data is optional, meaning that You are free to fill it in or not, without this entailing any obligation or particular inconvenience for You.

While You are browsing our Site and using its features, We may also collect certain connection data in order to improve our Site, configure default options for You (such as language and currency), and protect our Website (in particular against fraud).

3. With whom do we share Your data?

The only persons authorised to access Your data are the members of the DUBOS team in charge of customer service and/or marketing.

We may also communicate Your data in order to respond to legal or regulatory requests, court decisions, subpoenas or legal proceedings, if required to do so by the regulations in force, as well as in the event that DUBOS transfers all or part of its assets to a third company.

Data will only be transferred to countries outside the EU or EEA (referred to as third countries) where this is necessary for the performance of Our contractual obligations with You or as required by law (for example, reporting obligations under tax law), if You have given Us Your consent or as part of a subcontracting arrangement.

If services are required from suppliers based outside the EU or EEA, We will ensure that they comply with data protection regulations in Europe and Our applicable data protection standards. In this case, We implement the necessary measures to ensure end-to-end protection of the data concerned during their transfer.

4. How long is Your data kept?

Your data will be kept by DUBOS for the period during which you use Our services, and deleted at the latest three years from the end of our commercial relationship (for example, from a purchase, the expiry date of a guarantee, the end of a contract) or from our last contact with You (for example, a request for documentation or a click on a hypertext link contained in an e-mail), except where anonymisation is required or where there is a legal obligation to retain certain data for a longer period (for proof of a right or contract or compliance with a legal obligation).

Your connection data to this Site will only be kept for thirteen months.

5. Security

Protecting Your privacy and Your data is one of our priorities. All registered users are invited to create a password. We invite You to keep this secret, limit access to your computer or mobile device and log off after using Our services.

DUBOS étant établie sur le territoire français, notre société est soumise à la loi n° 78-17 du 6 janvier 1978 modifiée relative à l'informatique, aux fichiers et aux libertés et, plus largement, au Règlement général 2016/679 du 27 avril 2016 relatif à la protection des données (« RGPD »).

En cas de litige et dans le cas où un accord amiable ne pourrait intervenir, les tribunaux compétents seront ceux du ressort de la Cour d’appel de Paris.

Nous pouvons modifier la présente Politique à tout moment afin de tenir compte de Nos pratiques les plus récentes en matière de protection des données. Le cas échéant, tout changement Vous concernant Vous sera communiqué en temps opportun et via un moyen approprié.

If Your request is submitted electronically, the information will also be provided to You electronically where possible, unless You expressly request otherwise.

 

If DUBOS does not respond to Your request, it will inform You of the reasons for its inaction and You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority and/or to take legal action.
